At the same time, we develop and manufacture woodworking machines inspired by the many years of experience of our sawmillers. We facilitate and improve woodworking production. Our goal is to supply high-quality sawn timber and reliable machines so that our customers’ production process can seamlessly continue and grow where ours ends.
The Start of Our Journey
We have been cutting wood since 1995
We have been operating in the Velké Karlovice Valley in Wallachia since 1995. Production was originally focused solely on cutting pallet blanks for the packaging industry. The ingenuity of our machine maintenance staff and their resourcefulness in finding ways to make the line more efficient laid the foundation for our current metalworking operations. This led to the creation of a new lumber separator, which is considered the first product of our own metalworking production.
A turning point
Fire at a sawmill
On June 17, 2025, a major fire struck our sawmill, significantly impacting our production and disrupting normal operations. It was a difficult ordeal, but also a moment that demonstrated our determination and the strength of our team. On July 16, 2025, the sole shareholder of Pila MSK, a.s., decided that the sawmill operations would be fully restored. For us, this step represents not only a necessity but also an opportunity for modernization and further improvement.
Better than ever
Resumption of sawmill operations
After months of intensive preparation, we have obtained a building permit for the construction of our new facility. Work is already underway on the site to lay the foundations for the new production hall, and the renovation is gradually taking shape. Our in-house metalworking shop plays a key role, actively participating in the renewal of our production equipment.
We consider progress to be an integral part of existence
In 2012, we began developing woodworking technologies. We gradually progressed from conveyors to more complex machines, and we now supply our customers with complete technologies and fully functional lines. Proof of our joint growth is the modernization of the cutting line, which, thanks to the joint cooperation of sawmillers and engineers, has increased the quality and performance of our company’s production.
