The MSK OR wood lathe uses pneumatically controlled turning and holding arms with a pneumatic stop to turn the prism with the desired side facing up. The assembly also includes a chain conveyor. The control panel allows the operator to select whether to pass the material through without turning it or to switch the conveyor to reverse. The wood lathe is particularly advantageous in sawing units, where handling prisms is physically and time-consuming. The pneumatic cylinders can be replaced with hydraulic cylinders.
